Alan’s RV Background

We purchased a used RV and quickly realized we knew nothing about RVs! We met Terry Cooper, the founder of the National RV Training Academy, at an RV show and learned about the training programs offered at NRVTA.

Alan signed up for the Basics class to understand RV systems. During the class, he learned about RV inspections and how they can protect buyers by finding potential problems before they own the problems. He continued training over the following months to become a Certified RV Inspector and a Certified RV Technician.

RV Industry Tools

The best way to ensure that your RV inspection goes properly is to use a mixture of visual examination and some of the best tools the industry has to offer.

Aerial Drone Photography

We can see your entire roof without having to walk on it. Even better, our aerial drone takes pictures of the entire thing. That way, we can examine them closely to determine if you have any roof problems.

Thermal Imaging

We use thermal imaging to learn even more about your RV! It provides us with our best look at everything your RV has to offer.

Carbon Monoxide Detector

Is there any carbon monoxide hidden inside your RV? This is a deadly substance that you can’t hear, see, smell, or taste. Fortunately, we can tell if there’s too much carbon monoxide inside your RV with our detector.

Gas Leak Detector

Small amounts of gas cannot be detected by humans. The good news is that we’ll still be able to track it with our gas leak detector.

Moisture Meter

Is there hidden moisture inside your RV? Does this moisture even have related accumulations of mold? We’ll find proof of this issue with our moisture meter.

Off the Clock with Alan

Alan is married and has five adult children who are scattered coast to coast. His wife nicknamed their RV KC, short for Kid Chaser, as they use it to live close to their kids a few months at a time without having to try to live under their roofs. They also visit National Parks for extended stays, typically just outside the park.

He enjoys educating clients about their rigs and about how to prevent problems.
